Suzanne D'Arcy has been painting landscape for over thirty years. Her interest has been in lands that are preserved or under pressure to be developed. In California where she lives,there is a tension between the need for housing and the preservation of wild lands hosting native species and open space.

Suzanne’s paintings include cities, open spaces, rural scenes, working cowboys, domestic animals,  farming, travel to Italy, Sicily, and adjacent countries, and southwest topics.
